Emerge Counselling offers services on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation, Ta'an Kwäch'än Council and the Taku River Tlingit First Nation. Emerge Counselling is also grateful to work with people from, and on the traditional territories of all 14 Yukon First Nations.

Emerge Counselling recognizes the trauma and harm caused by colonization and genocidal policies such as residential school on Indigenous people, that continues today due to outdated colonial policy and systemic oppression. As an ally, Emerge Counselling is committed to reconciliation through a process of ongoing learning (and un-learning), and bringing cultural humility to therapeutic services.
